Well here I am to start out on this adventure that is blogging. I was reading alot of Dordtite's blogs and thought it was a good way to keep in touch.

For those of you who don't know what's been up since leaving Dordt here's a little update...

Emily and I are in Florida. We miss the cool/cold air and wish we had some snow, but it's pretty cool being next to the ocean. I am working as a youth pastor and she just accepted a position starting in August teaching music at a christian grade school about 40 minutes away. We bought a townhouse in December and love having a place of our own. It's nice not to do the apartment living thing.

We miss having friends and family around. We were just talking about how cool it was to have a brother and sister-in-law so close in Sioux Center (who just had a baby). We really miss the college feel of things - mostly the people.

So there she is - a lil' update on the life...
